On this page I have some examples of horses that I have previously had, in training with Team Liles Equestrian.
Some of these horses were with us to compete. I have posted vidoes, photos and magazine cuttings from the competitions. Other horses, we had in to sell. I have included videos and photos that have been given to me by their new owners, to keep me up to date with their progress. It is always great to hear how our horses continue to progress in their competition careers, after they leave us.
Taylor II was originally sent to us by his breeder Margret Thorne, to be backed as a three year old. Taylor stayed with us for a number of years. I produced Taylor up through the levels at Eventing and Dressage. Competing him up to BE Novice and BD Elementary. This Included qualifing him for the Grassroutes BE100 Championships at Badminton. Taylor was sold to Immy Carter at the end of 2011, where he continues to have a very sucessful Eventing career.
Bendigo was originally sent to Team Liles Equestrian by his breeder Harriet Walsh to be backed as a three year old. I produced Bendigo up through the levels at both Eventing and Dressage, where he twice qualified for the Grassroutes Regional Finals and competed at BD Medium. Bendigo was sold to Jude Mathews where they have recently been placed at the Riding Club Dressage Nationals. They won the unaff. 3 day event at Longleat 2013 and have many BE places including 2nd BE90 at Pontispool 2013.
Chilly was backed by Team Liles Equestrian as a 3 year old. I continued to help his owner Kate Helfer in his progression as a 4 year old. At 5 Chilly returned to us to compete in the young horse class in the winter nationals at Hartpury. He is now being Evented by kate’s younger sister Sarah at BE100.
